Some more news about the programme:
- July 13th evening: gathering in Port Orange (Saint Pierre Quiberon) 2 miles NNW of Port Haliguen. Mooring on anchor.
- July 14th: Port Orange-Port Kerel (southern coast of Belle-ile)
- July 15th: Port Kerel – Hoedic Island
- July 16th: Hoedic-Le Bono (Morbihan Gulf-Upstream Auray river)
Each day we will have approx 40 miles journeys with some buoys to turn. Sometimes we break for lunch near a beach.
Details are given few days in advance or even the day before depending on the meteo but Belle Ile and Hoedic has always some sheltered coasts at this period of the year.
Please be autonomous for food and drinks as we usually have BBQ on beaches which can be a little remote. Good mooring and dinghies are essential.
For those coming by road, the closest harbor to departure (Port Orange), with all the facilities such as launching slip, cranes, etc. is Port Haliguen:
An alternative is la Trinité sur Mer, 5 miles NE of Port Orange, but it is crowdy mid-July.
I could also check for other places in Morbihan Gulf if you wish but there may just be slips without any services around. Please let me know.
This is all for now.
