Vaar sinds jongs af aan op alles wat varen kan. Bouwde op lagere schooltijd leeftijd zeilbootjes van hout en liet die in de sloot bij ons huis zeilen, zo ook een catamaran. Na diverse monohulls volgde in 2021/2022 het bekijken van diverse Prout catamarans en bij deze zoektocht viel mijn oog eind 2022 op de Prout Scamper 26 waar ik nu nieuwe avonturen mee ga beleven. De thuishaven wordt mijn woonplaats Edam.
